MONTREAL — Mile High Media has released “Shark Bait” from punk porner Joanna Angel’s studio, Burning Angel.
The alt-porn studio’s entire library is now distributed on DVD and VOD exclusively through Mile High Media. “Shark Bait” marks the first BurningAngel title to release in the newly inked distribution deal.
A hybird throwback to 60s surf rock and the gory grindhouse style of yore, “Shark Bait” stars Joanna Angel and Tori Lux in a quest for revenge against the "Pink Pussies": Andy San Dimas, Nikki Hearts, Draven Star and Arabelle Raphael — AKA the most dangerous bikini gang in the (made up) world.
Angel and Lux concoct a plan to slip a live “Japanese cock shark” into the Pink Pussies' pool, which ravages — and eats — the once-tough bikini-clad crew.
"This is a really fun movie, with great sex, hot girls, sexy bikinis and a shark! There are elements of the movie that pay homage to the grindhouse genre of film, with a twist of some Sharknado-esque humor,” Angel said. “It's colorful and over the top, and hot at the same time. I am really excited to see what people think of it.”
The film also stars BurningAngel familiar Tommy Pistol. Wolf Hudson, John Strong, Michael Vegas and Danny Wylde.
