App Lets You Have 'Sex With Glass'

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Techies rejoice: play your cards right and you could be having Sex with Google Glass.

Not like that! Get your mind out of the gutter! Sex with Google Glass is a newly launched app from Lebanese product design student Sherif Maktabi that allows couples to record their intimate escapades from the virtual eyes of each beholder.

If both participants are wearing the headmounted device, they will be able to switch perspectives mid-act and see what their partner is seeing — themselves — in the throes of passion.

The voice command system is apparently a bit blush worthy. Saying “Ok Glass, it’s time” starts the recording process and “Ok Glass, pull out” ends it. The video of the act(s) can then be viewed for up to five hours before it is automatically deleted. Participants have one opportunity to save the recording before it is lost forever.

Sex with Google Glass follows a few months behind Tits and Glass, the first-ever sexually themed Google Glass app, developed by MiKandi, that allowed users to share racy content directly to others online.

Although the app was updated (i.e. softened) to comply with Google’s “evolving” policy on explicit material, a MiKandi rep said that it essentially stalled after Google repeatedly limited its API to a non-functional level.

Google’s policy still prohibits “nudity, graphic sex acts or sexually explicit material.”
