LOS ANGELES — Adult star Heidi Mayne has announced her return to porn after a two year hiatus.
"I just needed to take a break from the craziness for a while and concentrate on my personal life. I didn't like the direction the industry was going at the time, so I decided that it was in my best interest to take some time off to focus on what was more important," Mayne said.
She added, I just have to take a few weeks to get back in the shape I believe I need to be to properly present myself back to the industry."
The performer said she's intereted in working with directors David Lord, Eli Cross, Shylar Cobi, Jim Powers and Chris King.
She also noted that she would like to direct herself. "I have like a million original ideas for movies I would love to direct. The whole porn parody thing was cute at first and some of them are really funny and well done but it has gone a little overboard and I think its now become a sort of crutch that is used by directors and producers who have run out of original ideas; I want to get back to making original cheesie smutt, not cheesie smutt copies of original works, but I'm not sure there is a company willing to give an untried new director a budget, but one thing at a time."
