OTTAWA — A Winkle Market Research study for Standard Innovation revealed that We-Vibe is the most well-recognized vibrator brand in four out of five consumer markets worldwide.

The study, which was conducted via online survey throughout June 2013 asked 11,108 women in five key markets — Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the U.S. — which brands of vibrators they are aware of. In each country except Germany, We-Vibe was identified as the number one known brand.

“We-Vibe brand awareness is highest in Australia, where nearly a quarter of all women (24 percent) know about We-Vibe products, followed by the Netherlands (22 percent), the U.S. (17 percent), France (16 percent) and Germany (14 percent),” the company said. “In Germany We-Vibe enjoys the second highest brand awareness, more than double the third place manufacturer.”

We-Vibe also tops vibrator ownership in Australia, the Netherlands and the U.S., the company reports.

“We-Vibe continues to focus on increasing consumer mindshare globally with the ongoing launch of We-Vibe 4,” the company said. “Comprehensive consumer marketing and public relations campaigns continue to support retailers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, U.K. and the U.S. In doing so, the company aims to drive new customers into adult stores around the world to ask for We-Vibe by name.”
