LOS ANGELES — Adult performer and radio personality, James Bartholet, has received two XBIZ Awards nominations for Best Non-Sex Performance for the 2014 ceremony on Jan. 24 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, Calif.
Bartholet has received a nomination for his comic performance as the Cowardly Lion in "Not The Wizard Of OZ XXX" for X-Play, and his multiple-character performance as the cruise line inspector in "Love Boat XXX: A Parody" for Adam & Eve/X-Play.
"Thank you XBIZ for my two nominations, and recognizing my work," Bartholet said. "I'm very proud of these two parody movie releases, they were a lot of work to make, but also a lot of fun. I love working for X-Play, they give me the room to be creative with the characters I portray on screen, and the fans and critics enjoy it. Yes, we are making adult films, but today's audience also appreciates good acting performances in them as well."
Bartholet also hosts the weekly radio program "Inside The Industry" on latalkradio.com every Wednesday night. Some of Bartholet's newest releases include "Hotel No Tell," "The Masterpiece" and "Sperm Bank" for Wicked Pictures, and "Grease XXX: A Parody" for Adam & Eve/X-Play.
Bartholet has also co-starred in and co-produced two mainstream horror movie projects.
