Video: Joanna Angel Premieres Music Video for 'Gimme Some Pants'

LOS ANGELES — Alt adult star Joanna Angel’s band, Joanna Angel & The Gigolos, has released the official music video for their first single, “Gimme Some Pants.”

The video features Angel and Tommy Pistol in clips from the BurningAngel adult film “Band Sluts,” spliced with other footage shot by director Mike Quasar.

“There are many shots of us trying on pants,” Angel said.

And it’s true. In the video, playfully distressed stars Angel and Pistol just can’t seem to find the right pair of breeches. Despite the song’s title and much pants trying on and throwing, Angel remains mostly pantless throughout the SFW video.

Angel said her band is here to”kick down the door of the party and have some fun with a sound that pulls from the classic punk rock and pop anthems that we all grew up with, sprinkled with the trademark ’Joanna Angel’ humor, a wink and a smile."

Drawing from influences such as The Sounds, Blondie, Beehive and the Barracudas, and Sleater-Kinney, the music is described as “a whole lotta sass with a little bit of ass.”

Her partners on the single include the Gigolos, "Small Hands" and "CL Lewis" from pop-punkers Fenix TX.

"Even though some might perceive a sexy element to the band, I didn't want the songs to be specifically about sex," Angel said. "You can see and hear enough of that stuff on BurningAngel.com. These are just fun songs that we have a good time writing and recording, having fun is the main goal."

Josh Grabelle, who co-founded the label Gypsy Diamond which released the single, has been friends with Angel since the 1990’s, both hailing from the New Jersey punk rock scene. He said releasing new music from Angel on his new pop label was an obvious choice: "Joanna is a sweetheart and I have been following all her moves for over a decade. We are both cut from the same DIY cloth and have similar tastes and interests and I am excited to work with her on her new music."

The music video can be viewed directly on BurningAngel.com and on YouTube.
