Palomino Club Las Vegas Hosts an Evening With Mick Foley

LAS VEGAS — Wrestler, author and philanthropist Mark Foley has planned an intimate evening to share his thoughts, stories and memories from his personal and professional life, to be held at the Palomino gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas.

After his departure from WWE in 2008, Foley signed with TNA where he was a storyline stock holder with the company. Foley has won a total of 17 championships between WCW, ECW, WWF/E and TNA. Foley is also a noted autobiographer and was featured in the wrestling documentaries “Beyond the Mat” and “Bloodstained Memoirs.”

"I have always been a big wrestling fan," Palomino Owner Adam Gentile said."So I jumped at the chance to help create a special evening so that Mick could spend it with his friends, fans and our patrons. What I admire most about him is that he is very much a renaissance man and that he has spent much of his time on philanthropic works, which the public at large knows very little about.”

Foley has participated in numerous Make-A-Wish Foundation events, has made visits to children in hospitals, schools and libraries. He currently sponsors seven children with ChildFund International, a group he has been affiliated with since 1992. In recent years, he has become one of the fund's leading donors, helping finance education centers in remote areas of the Philippines, Mexico and Sierra Leone.

Foley has also visited U.S. troops at various military bases and military hospitals.

"It's a privilege to help put on this event and share an evening with such an amazing and generous human being," said Long, a co-organizer. "I'm very much looking forward to meeting Mr. Foley in person and as a Veteran myself, I can't wait to shake his hand and personally thank him for everything he has done for our troops.”

Established in 1969, the Palomino Club claims to be the oldest gentleman’s club in Las Vegas and is the only club in the city that serves alcohol while showcasing totally nude dancers.

The club offers free Limo pick-up service, specially priced bottle services to locals and free cover to members of the military, as well as firemen and policemen.
