VENICE, Calif. — Joey Silvera's movie "American She-male 2," starring Venus Lux, took home the Best Transsexual Release trophy at the NightMoves Awards.
Lux, Christian and Annalise Rose shared the movie’s opening scene.
“That was a particularly hot movie and I’m glad it’s being recognized,” Lux said. “Joey did a fantastic job and I’m proud to have been a part of it. Joey is the absolute best at what he does.”
Lux is also starting to work behind the camera and will soon be releasing her own DVDs.
The release "Venus Lux: Fantasies" is nearly ready to go.
“I’m really enjoying being able to put my vision down from beginning to end,” she said. “This is the first opportunity I’ve had to create on this level and it’s been very liberating.”
She will do her own distribution to brick and mortar stores, online retailers, video on demand, LuxGalleria.com and her website, Venus-Lux.com.
Her recent releases include "American She-male X 5" (Joey Silvera/Evil Angel), "America’s Next Top Tranny 17" (Goodfellas Productions) and "Filthy Shemale Sluts 14" (White Ghetto Films).
