2014 XBIZ Awards Pre-Nominations Period Ends Friday at Midnight

LOS ANGELES — The pre-nomination period for the industry awards event of the year, the 2014 XBIZ Awards, will end this Friday, Oct. 11 at midnight PST.

The XBIZ Awards, presented by Fleshlight with Jenna Jameson as master of ceremonies, will be held on Jan. 24 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, Calif. 

To submit pre-nominations in any of the awards categories, industry professionals must be registered members of the XBIZ.net social network and use the online submission form to record their entries. 

In order to be eligible for consideration for a 2014 XBIZ Award, video and novelty products must be released between Oct. 15, 2012, and Oct. 11, 2013.  

Upon completing the pre-nomination submission form, XBIZ encourages producers and manufacturers to submit their product samples and marketing materials to:

Six new award categories have been added for the 2014 show in an effort to be more inclusive of previously unrecognized market segments and in response to feedback from members of the adult entertainment industry.

In the Movies & Production field, for the first time in XBIZ Awards history, an honor will be given to the most outstanding Girl/Girl Performer of the Year 

In the Web & Tech field, XBIZ will introduce an award for New Site of the Year.

In the Pleasure Products field, two new categories have been added: Fetish Pleasure Product of the Year and Specialty Pleasure Product of the Year

And in the Retail & Distribution field, new awards will be given to the Progressive Retailer of the Year and Progressive Distributor of the Year.
