Monarchy Partners With Punk Band Behind Westboro Baptist Church Clip

LOS ANGELES — Monarchy Distribution has signed a distribution deal with Get Shot Girls, the Sacramento punk band that released a video of their bassist Laura Lush masturbating on the front lawn of the Westboro Baptist Church, which is notorious for its antigay affronts.

"The response to the ‘Westboro fingerbang video’ has been unbelievable," Monarchy owner Mike Kulich said. "People from around the world have bombarded the band with their praise and approval. I have had the opportunity to talk with all the band members, including JP, Jillian and the star herself Laura Lush, and we are all excited to take their public masturbation antics to the next level."

The original clip from the self-professed “sleaziest band in the world” can be found on XVideos and has already received more than half a million views.

"When I finally got to talk to the band, I realized there was a lot of potential in signing them" added Kulich. "This isn't just some flash in the pan, three-minute video. Get Shot has been filming professional quality content for a while. They shoot quality stills and are completely legit."

Get Shot’s next scene is in the works and features a follow-up guerilla fingerbang scene at a Chick-Fil-A, another establishment well known for its antigay leanings.

West Baptist Church has become almost synonymous with its polemic slogan "God hates fags." Lush, who is openly bisexual, said on Facebook she "wanted to spread her legs and cause controversy."

Monarchy plans to release a 70-minute video that includes the Westboro scene, as well as additional erotic punk rock-themed footage. The 2-disc set will be accompanied by one of Get Shot's albums.

JP Hunter, Get Shot's vocalist and the cameraman who captured the Westboro shenanigans, said, "This is amazing and a dream come true. We are beyond stoked to work with Monarchy and plan to give the world plenty of punk rock smut."

The DVD/CD combo is slated for a January release.
