Girlfriends Films Streets B. Skow’s ‘Daddy’s Girls’

VALENCIA, Calif, — Girlfriends Films’ controversial, taboo-ridden title “Daddy’s Girls” from director B. Skow is now available on DVD.

Designated by Skow as the best film of his career, “Daddy’s Girls,” follows the story of Samantha (Maddy O’Reilly), a blind 18-year-old girl who falls into an illicit affair with her father’s best friend, Bob (Alec Knight), after he forcibly takes her virginity. When he puts an end to their relationship, she attempts suicide and is sent to a psych ward for treatment.

However, the plot thickens: Bob’s troubled daughter Quincy (Riley Reid) is also pining for her father — and goes to extreme means to achieve her conquest, in between stints as a camgirl.

The film was written by David Stanley and co-stars Evan Stone as Samantha’s cancer-stricken dad, Dale. Darla Crane, Odile and Capri Cavanni round out the cast.

“The controversy surrounding ‘Daddy’s Girls’ is understandable,” Skow said. “We’ve created a unique story, which is complicated, dark and bold in its exploration of themes such as incest, rape and suicide. Our characters are emotionally fragile — physically challenged in the case of Samantha, our blind protagonist — and often morally bankrupt. But it’s the emotional weight they carry enhancing the film’s sex scenes. These are flawed people engaging in dysfunctional relationships … it’s a hot and vigorous mind-fuck.”

“’Daddy’s Girls’ is B. Skow’s most powerful work to date, and we are extremely proud and excited to have it street today,” said Moose, Girlfriends Films vice president. “It has become one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated releases, with consumer awareness at an all-time high.”

“Daddy’s Girls” is the newest release under the distribution deal between B. Skow and Girlfriends Films, which includes the first boy/girl scenes ever distributed by the mostly lesbian studio. Previous titles produced under the deal include “Paint,” “Voila,” “Homecoming,” “Truth Be Told” and “What Do You Want Me to Say?”
