Shane's World Studios Teams With Offbeatr to Produce 'Shane's World 43'

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Shane’s World Studios is teaming up with adult crowdfunding site Offbeatr to produce “Shane’s World 43.”

“Shane’s World 43” will be the newest entry in the studio’s flagship series, which showcases young performers partaking in real sexual adventures in exotic destinations around the globe.

Fans wishing to contribute to the production of “Shane’s World 43” may do so by visiting Shane’s World’s Offbeatr page

“One of the reasons we created Offbeatr was to allow content producers to get closer to their fans and audience. With that in mind, we're really excited to have Shane's World as the first major adult studio to use OffBeatr as its platform of choice to crowdfund its next adult film," said Ben Tao, chief executive officer of Offbeatr.

Shane’s World’s goal is to raise $25,000 in 45 days. Contribution levels range from $5 to $5,000, earning fans a variety of exclusive rewards, including Shane’s World t-shirts and sex toys, porn star telephone calls, custom made sex videos, an invite to the “Shane’s World 43” premiere and a chance to travel with the cast during the movie’s production.

Contributors will also have the opportunity to play a role in the casting of “Shane’s World 43” and help pick its shooting location and the activities its stars will perform.

“Shane's World decided to try crowdsourcing because we're not scared to try new things,” Shane’s World co-owner Brian Grant said. “The business model for the adult industry is changing and we have to change with the times. Offbeatr offers a new way to make high-quality, fun and sexy movies. We were the first to bring porn stars to college parties and the first studio to send a black man, a white guy and three Asians on a road trip through Mexico. We enjoy breaking new ground.”

Grant cited Hollywood’s recent success with Kickstarter campaigns as motivation for launching the Offbeatr bid.

“We have seen success on the mainstream side for crowdfunding and we're excited to try this for adult,” Grant said. “In essence, we see this as pre-selling the movie with some added extra rewards and the ability to generate even more interest. Either way this is a fun experiment and we can't wait to get started."
