LOS ANGELES — Porn-crossover sensation James Deen is featured in a multi-page Playboy pictorial spread, alongside a 20-questions type profile, in the October issue that will be hitting stands this week.
“I am going to have a spread in Playboy!!!!!” Deen announced on his blog in May, “I know you may think I meant playgirl. That is the one where dudes get naked and Playboy is the one where girls get naked. But no … I am going to have a spread in Playboy!!!!! This is cool for like … a bazillion reasons!!!!!!!”
Deen elaborates on a few of the “bazillion” reasons in the post, citing the fact that that type of profile has historically been reserved for well respected celebs, including previous featurees Kevin Smith, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Peter Dinklage, Ed Helms, Andy Sandberg, Seth Green and Zach Galifianakis. He notes that with his latest Playboy cameo he now has “a pretty cool resume" of famous magazines that have profiled him, including GQ, Esquire, Rolling Stone and Interview.
According to GossipCop.com, the porn-star-next-door touches on tabloid-buzzing topics in the Playboy profile, like his prefab Vivid sex tape with Farrah Abraham and his on-set experiences with “The Canyons” co-star Lindsay Lohan, who he generally will not discuss.
Deen’s original blog post features two photos taken at the Playboy shoot, including one where he is sprawled out on a white fur rug, wearing sunglasses (inside) and smoking a cigarette.
