FSC-PASS Comments on Rod Daily's Tweets on HIV Status

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — The Free Speech Coalition and performer screening service PASS on Tuesday said that the groups are recommending that all talent who performed with Rod Daily submit to additional testing.

Daily, linked romantically to HIV-infected female performer Cameron Bay, tweeted yesterday that he too was recently diagnosed as HIV-positive.

In a statement Tuesday, FSC-PASS officials said that they haven't determined whether another performer moratorium is needed.

"That decision is in the hands of our medical advisory board which will review all of the most recent information," FSC-PASS officials said.

"We’ve been asked for a comment about the revelations from the @Rod_Daily Twitter account stating that the performer Rod Daily is HIV-positive," the FSC said. "It must be noted that while this does appear to be authentic, we do not have additional confirmation that these messages were in fact posted by Rod Daily himself.

"Further the tests referenced were not performed at a testing facility that feeds into our PASS system so this is also not corroborated with additional verification."

FSC-PASS officials said that Bay’s known partners were factored in to the first- and second-generational genealogy during the recent moratorium.

"As for Rod Daily, we are informed that he performed exclusively in gay and TS scenes with condoms," FSC-PASS officials said.
