MONTREAL — OpenLife Entertainment introduced today its two new production studios, EroticaX and HardX.

Helmed by director Mason, each studio will feature variations on the auteur’s style of filmmaking. EroticaX will focus on glamourous couples-oriented films, while HardX will showcase hardcore gonzo.

The producers said Mason recently wrapped a showcase on rising star Anikka Albrite, which will be the debut release from HardX.  Slated to hit stores in late September, the DVD will include Albrite’s first anal scene.“It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever been a part of,” Mason said.“Anikka gave everything to this movie.”

Movies from EroticaX will be unique and offer “a slight departure from what fans have come to expect from Mason" and shot entirely on DSLR cameras.“For EroticaX, my main focus is on connection and chemistry,” Mason explained.“I love shooting with the DSLR cameras; the results are visually stunning.”

OpenLife Entertainment is the recently launched network of adult content between Mile High Media and Gamma Entertainment. Content will be released through an array of platforms, including DVD, Internet, VOD, mobile, and broadcast.

“After building up OpenLife’s catalogue of acclaimed performer websites, it was time to turn our attention to original content,” Claude Hyppolite, President of OpenLife Entertainment and part owner of Gamma Entertainment, said.

He added, “Through HardX and EroticaX, Mason is going to create perennial award contenders, which we will be able to offer fans over a variety of platforms.”
