The trade events will be a primer for the most lavish XBIZ Awards show to date on Friday, Jan. 24, when it will return to the legendary Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, Calif. Stay tuned to XBIZ.com for major announcements about the 2014 XBIZ Awards gala in the coming weeks.

One of the most well-known, highly regarded chains of luxury destinations in the world, the W Hotels is a boldly designed, contemporary lifestyle brand with hotels located in the most progressive cities in the world. The W’s iconic design regularly attracts global jetsetters and cultural tastemakers drawn to the brand’s eclectic fusion of unique aesthetics and minimalist charm, making it the ideal location for the industry events series of the year.

Capturing the spirit of what makes Tinseltown the entertainment capital of the world, W Hollywood embodies the California dream, where glitz and glamour meet sunshine and star power. Among the perks of staying at W Hollywood are the world-class suites, rooftop lounge better known as Drai’s and perhaps most notably, the glorious ground floor lobby and bar lounge area that will be the central hub for networking and schmoozing during XBIZ 360°.

The 'Future of Digital Media' Conference, formerly known as XBIZ L.A., scheduled for Jan. 22-25, will consist of the most elaborate series of market trend seminars and technology workshops designed to showcase the most cutting-edge and strategic business tactics in online adult entertainment today. Several key factors make this the top digital media event of the year, including an unprecedented lineup of A-list industry leaders whose mission will be to share their most effective keys to empowering business today. There will also be numerous chances to mix business with pleasure framed around unique social opportunities that will allow attendees to mingle with industry pros from all over the world. The series of special events that will fuel the conference will consist of cocktail receptions, Happy Hours, super sized mix and meets and exclusive parties at Hollywood’s hottest nightspots.

The 'Future of Adult Film' Conference, set for Jan. 23-24, will dive into every major area of the constantly evolving business of content creation and distribution. Subjects will include genre trends and practical analysis of the latest technological solutions and advances, such as the new 4k screen resolutions on the horizon. The second edition of the conference will also feature in-depth discussions about the changing landscape for porn performers and how up-and-coming and established talent can not only survive but prosper during this challenging transition. The event would not be complete without tackling the most pressing legal issues facing content producers, so XBIZ will engage the top litigators in the country for their insights on how to navigate the current environment.

The 'Future of Pleasure Products' Conference will be on Jan. 22, when A-list manufacturers and distributors in the realm of pleasure products will dissect all the hottest topics related to the growth and explosive mainstreaming of the industry. The event is being designed to create an unrivaled opportunity to find out where the world of sex toys is headed in the coming year as well as connect with the most influential members of the community.

In addition, Jan. 22 will mark the return of the FSC Summit Conference, which for the first time will be held at the W as part of the XBIZ 360° events series. The Free Speech Coalition and XBIZ will join forces once again to unite industry executives, lobbyists, business and legal experts to deliver the latest industry updates and insights on topics and issues most pertinent to the initiatives of the adult industry trade association. The Summit will be highlighted by the second annual FSC Awards, which will honor an elite group of business leaders for their contribution to the greater good of their respective market segments and the industry as a whole.

The fifth conference of the events series, the 'Future of Adult Retail' is slated for Jan. 23, when a veritable who’s who in the adult retail arena will come together to share insight and business tips for how to thrive in the competitive and fast-changing retail marketplace. Topics and seminars will include practical solutions for the retail operator while providing an opportunity to mix with the most accomplished retail executives from across the country.

Each conference event will be anchored by a special keynote address from one of the industry’s foremost visionaries to be announced in the coming weeks.

And finally, beginning Jan. 22, the winter edition of the XBIZ Retail Retreat will unfold, following the format of its highly touted summer edition — combining one-on-one private meetings and special networking activities during an all-inclusive, invite-only getaway for leading manufacturers and qualified retail buyers.

For a limited time, XBIZ 360° attendees are eligible to lock in a very special promotional room rate of only $199 per night at the exquisite W Hollywood Hotel, which normally runs over $400 per night. To book rooms at this exclusive rate, click here.
