LOS ANGELES — Tanya Tate will be making an appearance this weekend at WonderCon.
Tate has been recognized on several genre sites for her prolific appearances as a costume player.
WonderCon is an annual celebration of comic books and pop culture taking place in Anaheim, Calif., March 29-31.
She begins her WonderCon weekend by representing FirstComicsNews.com on a panel with other entertainment media specialist titled How to Get News Coverage.
Tate is a blogger, reviewer as well as a publicist.
"I'm honored to be part of this panel," she said. "It consists of the top people in geek media news. For me to be sitting next to them and taking part of it, is an incredible feeling. I look forward to it."
How To Get News Coverage panel will be held in Room 213 on Friday, March 29 at 3:30 p.m.
She will also be making a special signing appearance at the Geekscape.net booth on Friday and Saturday.
Geekscape is a geek site about movies, videogames, comics and the culture that thrives from them.
Tate will be signing her geek-centric merchandise which includes 8x10s and her book; "Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume."
"Geekscape is an awesome community of pop culture enthusiasts," Tate said. "I feel very special to be able to sign at their booth."
