LOS ANGELES — XBIZ TV is pleased to announce an exclusive new video interview with the reigning XBIZ Female Performer of the Year, Brooklyn Lee.
Lee, an Ohio native who started her adult film career in 2010, received the Performer of the Year honor at the 11th annual XBIZ Awards this past January in Century City, Calif.
“I still don’t really get it yet,” Lee said. “It’s very exciting obviously, but it still hasn’t quite registered I don’t think.”
The most high-profile role of Lee’s banner year in 2012 undoubtedly was her fierce performance as the lead actress in John Stagliano’s vampire-themed epic, “Voracious,” for Evil Angel. Lee said she pushed her limits in the movie as the character Amira.
“It’s probably the most hardcore movie I’ve ever shot and probably ever will shoot,” she said.
Lee also landed top billing in what is setting up to be one of the major releases of 2013, Vivid Entertainment’s remake of the iconic “Behind the Green Door,” which will be unveiled this Fall.
“It’s hard for me to say that that project is bigger or better than ‘Voracious.’ It’s completely different. It’s definitely no lower in stature,” Lee said, adding that she felt an emotional attachment to the role.
“We really put our hearts and our souls into it,” she continued. “With that movie it wasn’t so much fantasy-based, so I could really pull a lot of emotions that live under the surface of me.”
Lee also discusses her idea of a great sex scene, her favorite TV show and reveals her next big project on XBIZ TV.
