LOS ANGELES — Porn icon Ron Jeremy has emerged from a second heart surgery procedure on Wednesday and is now resting at Cedars-Sinai hospital, his manager said.

According to Jeremy's manager Mike Esterman, the "second surgery went smoothly and Ron is now resting with complete privacy and no visitors."

Esterman added, "Everyone on Ron’s team has expressed well wishes and a speedy recovery."

On Thursday, TMZ reported that Jeremy would be staying in the hospital for at least the next two weeks as he recovers.

The 59-year-old is the global star of more than 2,000 adult films.

Jeremy drove to Cedars-Sinai on Tuesday afternoon after suffering from severe chest pains, according to a TMZ report. An aneurysm was discovered near his heart.

His condition had worsened since Tuesday, prompting Wednesday's emergency surgery.

Affectionately nicknamed the Hedgehog by the industry, Jeremy is one of porn's most recognizable and successful personalities, most recently launching his own brand of rum, Ron de Jeremy.
