NEW YOR — Transsexual performer Mia Isabella has won the XBIZ award for Best Transsexual DVD Release for her self-produced and directed release "Want Some Honey 2."

"To start off 2013 with my third win for Transsexual DVD Release of the Year is truly the best compliment I could receive.
For the past year, she has been shooting and producing her own material and has made more mainstream media appearances on radio programs such as “The Judith Regan Show,” in New York City, “The Mancow Show” in Chicago and multiple appearances on “The Jason Ellis Show” in Los Angeles.
She has also become active in charity organizations and hopes to become more involved with the mentoring of young transsexuals in making their own transitions.
“2013 is going to be a year full of amazing surprises as I branch out into the mainstream world taking my name and brand to the next level. I look forward to showcasing my talents outside of the adult industry and representing my community to the world in a positive light,” she said.
