NEW YORK — Alexis Ford has received four nominations for the first annual XCritic Fan Choice Awards.
Her nominations are Female Performer of the Year, Best All Sex or Gonzo Scene Alexis Ford Darkside, Best Director Jules Jordon Alexis Ford Darkside and Best Couple Sex Series Intimate Encounters.
Fans can vote for Ford on XCritic.com and voting ends on Jan.11.
“After a lot of thought and hard work we decided that the biggest thing missing in the adult space was an awards that represented the people who watch porn,” XCritic.com said. “We tried to stick with the essentials and really reward the core work being done in the industry. We also tried to keep the number of nominations down and only nominate titles and performers who merited it."
Born and raised in Queens, N.Y., Ford began her career in 2009 as a Howard-TV Girl for Howard Stern On Demand and later became a contract star for Adam and Eve. She was molded for Topco Toys, featured on a tee shirt for Two in the Shirt. She also travels the country as a feature dancer and shoots for various men’s magazines including Hustler and Penthouse Magazine becoming Penthouse Pet of the Month for June 2012.
