Kink Takes Over Twisted Factory Affiliate Program

SAN FRANCISCO — Fetish producer Twisted Factory on Friday announced that it has reached an agreement to hand over management of its affiliate program, Bondage Bank, as well as its e-mail marketing operations, to Kink.com's marketing team, after extensive discussions.

Starting immediately, Kink.com will take over affiliate management and payouts and email marketing for all of three Twisted Factory sites: FuckedandBound.com, ChantasBitches.com and CaptiveMale.com.

"We wanted to reach a larger audience and make sure that our affiliates are getting the best possible service," said Twisted Factory's Tony Pirelli. "After the re-launch of the site this past summer, we formed a strategic partnership with Kink's marketing team that made sense both financially and structurally. With this deal our affiliates will be getting some of the best care in the industry."

Kink.com will keep the Bondage Bank site separate from its own KinkyDollars affiliate program, but will bring payment processing, email marketing and affiliate tool development in-house.

"We have the largest fetish network in the world," said Robert Levy, affiliate director for Kink.com. "We have a reputation and an economy of scale that smaller companies can't match. So a partnership like this makes a lot of sense for both companies."

Twisted Factory will get access to one of the oldest and largest affiliate marketing teams in the industry. Kink.com has run its affiliate program, Kinky Dollars, for nearly 13 years. Though the Bondage Bank site will remain a standalone site, affiliates will deal directly with Levy and his team.

John Sander, VP of marketing for Kink.com, signaled that the company sees the affiliate management and email marketing space as a path for future growth.

"Kink gets a lot of attention for our site content," Sander said. "But the truth is, it's our back-end affiliate machine that has allowed us to perform at such a high level. We think that can be a great asset for smaller companies."

Affiliates interested in promoting the Bondage Bank affiliate program can sign up at BondageBank.com, or reach Robert Levy at Robert@twistedfactory.com.
