LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has released "Spartacus MMXII: The Beginning," an X-rated re-imagining of the Spartacus legend from London Gunn Films and Miko Lee Productions.

The long-delayed swords-and-sandals feature is written and directed by Marcus London, who toplines the project as its titular hero. Co-producers Tommy Gunn and Miko Lee also star in the two-hour porn actioner.

"This was shot as an independent film and made into a spectacular feature by a small group of performers," London said. "We are proud that with hard work and dedication, even though the odds were against us, we created an epic movie that we're hoping will be the start of a very successful franchise."

"Spartacus MMXII: The Beginning" costars Gracie Glam, Andy San Dimas, Jenna Presley, Devon Lee, Tanya Tate, India Summer, Tony De Sergio, Lucas Stone, TJ Cummings and Nacho Vidal. A soft trailer is available for viewing at the film's website.
