Smash Pictures Launches Novelty Company Luv Moves

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Smash Pictures announced today the launch of its new adult novelty company Luv Moves, debuting in October with the release of Fifty Shades of Pleasure-Play Kit & Movie.

"It’s a lateral move," Smash Pictures Vice President Stuart Wall said. "Dan Quinn, owner of Smash, has a dozen novelty stores back east. He has an eye for what’s selling, and we’re now jumping into the game."

Luv Moves will specialize in creating novelty kits built around the studio's romantic releases. These bundles will include a movie and the toys inspired by it. First up will be a Fifty Shades of Pleasure-Play Kit & Movie bundle that includes: a mask, handcuffs, ball-gag, rope, vibrator, kegel balls, tickler and, of course, a copy of Smash's runaway hit spoof "Fifty Shades of Grey: A XXX Adaptation."

"Each new novelty kit will include a combination of toys and a DVD for a matching theme for each fantasy," Wall said. "It's all designed to get that sexual adrenalin pumping that makes us all want to move. That's why our company name is Luv Moves."

Luv Moves will do an initial run of 1000 Fifty Shades of Pleasure-Play Kit & Movie packages in mid October. Wall expects the kits to be a big hit based on the more than 14,000 pre-orders Smash has received for the Jim Powers-directed spoof of British author E.L. James' record-breaking "mommy porn" book trilogy.

Set to street Thursday, "Fifty Shades of Grey: A XXX Adaptation" stars Allie Haze and Ryan Driller as college virgin Anastasia Steele and kinky billionaire Christian Grey, the young couple at the heart of James' sadomasochistic romance.

Costars include Julia Ann as Christian's one-time sex teacher, Elena (AKA: Mrs. Robinson), Alexis Ford as Anastasia's best friend Katherine Kavanaugh, Johnny Castle as Elliot Grey, Logan Pierce as Boy Toy and Jazlene Jade as Leila the Sub.

To order and/or for more information on Luv Moves' Fifty Shades of Pleasure-Play Kit & Movie bundles, call (866) 772-7219, or email Stuart@SmashPictures.com.
