iPadult.com Teams With Magna Publishing to Bring Magazines to iPad

PARAMUS, N.J. — iPadult.com, in collaboration with Magna Publishing Group, has debuted what it is calling "the fastest and largest iPad magazine selection" in the adult entertainment sector with several established men’s magazine brands.

iPadult.com and Magna Publishing Group have joined forces to provide iPad editions to well-known titles in the magazine space such as Club, Club International, Cheri, Finally Legal, Fox, Club Confidential, Gallery, High Society, Genesis, Velvet, Swank, Celebrity Skin, Just 18 and more.

With the deal, there are 100 editions available immediately along with bonus video clips featuring interactivity and enhanced user experience. With the iPadult platform, users can flip through photo galleries, add notes, visit web pages and watch embedded movies within the magazine (online or offline).

"The iPadult display (iPad2 and iPad3) provides the highest resolution photos of any magazine in the adult industry (in portrait or landscape mode)," according to the press release announcing the deal. "The service includes the most advanced and secured shopping cart, which allows easy purchase of multiple titles in one transaction with maximum anonymity. Platform policy avoids recurring billing to ease on purchase intent. Digital editions are being sold just from the current fresh magazine inventory."

The iPadult platform also provides a viable solution to advertisers willing to promote a product or a service via an interactive web page that is part of their original featured website, Magna Publishing said. This technology allows embedding of standard web pages with video clips as an integral part of the magazine experience without ever leaving the magazine itself. The advertising technology helps in promoting destination sites, new movies, products and services without the need to any special adaptation for iPad. Now advertisers can track their ad impressions and click throughs via this new interactive magazine advertising space, the company said.

Each month the catalog will add new multiple issues for these brands parallel to the print editions, and all the catalog issues are available at iPadult.com.
