'Animal House' Parody Plans Marketing Blitz

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The creative minds behind upcoming parody “Not Animal House XXX” are pulling out all stops with a heavy marketing campaign that includes posters, social media, an industry party and even trailers set to coincide with the Republican National Convention.

Co-producers Adam & Eve Pictures and X-Play said their “sexy promotional barrage” will usher in the film being released on Sept. 26 and will carry well into 2013.

The marketing teams will also be launching a fan-friendly website, star access for media interviews, store posters, media pack that will accompany the double-disc DVD and online marketing “special events” that will utilize YouTube and Facebook.

A “mega adult industry Halloween party” is also being planned.

“We want retailers and the distributors to know that this is a feature movie capable of selling extreme numbers of units at both physical retail stores and at online retail sites almost like the good 'ole days,” X-Play’s Scott David said.

The filmmakers noted that they spared little expense creating what they feel will be one of the year’s four biggest blockbusters.

With sets that include an old dilapidated mansion and the University of Wisconsin at Madison as a backdrop, director Will Ryder blends graphic sex with the one of the greatest comedies on record. The film is described as unleashing "a parental nightmare of dirty orgies, 3-way, 4-way fucking, anal sex and hardcore sexual acts so profound and disgusting that decorum prohibits listing them.”

“This was a very expensive movie to produce but man was it fun,” Ryder said. “People think we’re nuts to spend this type of money but you cannot make a spectacular movie like this with a huge cast of 30 people without spending a lot of cash."

Both producers said they believe that the audience deserves a benchmark quality product that will be destined for numerous award nominations.

“We want the customers to get their money’s worth and they really do with this movie,” Bob Christian, general manager of Adam & Eve Pictures said.

The film also boasts star power top lined by Asa Akira and includes Jessie Andrews, Playboy Playmate Spencer Scott, Kaylee Hilton, Britney Amber, Vicki Chase, Zoey Foxx, Katt Dylan, Nikki Daniels, Cindy Starfall, Bliss Dulce, Callie Cyprus, Taylor Russo, Carmen Monet, Kacey Villainess, Ashley Stone, London Giana and Stacy Shields.

Male talent includes Eric Swiss, Anthony Rosano, Jack Vegas, Seth Gamble, Eric John, Ralph Long, Chad Diamond, J.J. Hollyberry, Christopher C. Raff, and veterans Ron Jeremy and Tom Byron.
