Wet Lubricants, Hustler Hollywood Launch 'Fifty Shades' Inspired Workshops

VALENCIA, Calif. — Trigg Laboratories, makers of Wet Personal Lubricants, and Hustler Hollywood have announced workshops exploring the sexual activities inspired by E.L. James’s “Fifty Shades of Grey” books.

Fans are invited to turn their fantasies into reality through the “Beyond Fifty Shades: Bringing Kink Into the Bedroom" workshops led by certified sex educator Charlie Glickman, Ph.D.

The workshops are open to the public at no cost at the Hustler Hollywood retail store at 8920 West Sunset Boulevard, West Hollywood, Calif., 90069 on August 29, and at the San Diego store at 929 6th Avenue, San Diego, 92101 on Aug. 30, both from 7-9 p.m. PDT.

Organizers said the workshops are ideal for people wishing to explore BDSM (bondage and discipline; dominance and submission; and sadism and masochism) practices in safe and informed ways.

Topics will include how to talk about engaging in BDSM with a partner, bondage and spanking basics, sex toy usage, important safety tips, etiquette and more.

Bondage tools and Wet personal lubricant products will be provided for hands-on instruction.

“Experiencing phenomenal sexual experiences while being safe and healthy are of the utmost importance to us,” Jennifer Martsolf, vice president of marketing at Trigg said.

She added, “As people experiment with intimate bedroom activities, our goal is to prepare them with expert knowledge to make their first experiences unforgettable for all the right reasons.”

Everyone, from reserved novices to experienced paramours of all sexual orientations are welcome to attend — whether they be dominant, submissive or both.

“Our customers’ interest in BDSM has spiked with the popularity of the ‘Fifty Shades’ books,” Carol Mendelsohn, HH Entertainment director of marketing said. “As people try BDSM techniques for the first time, Hustler Hollywood stores will support consumers with not only the right tools, but also with a forum where all sexual activities can be discussed openly.”

Attendees can register online for the workshops by visiting Wet Personal Lubricants.

Participants must be at least 21 years of age and space is limited.

Attendees will receive a free gift bag and complimentary wine will be available.
