Coquette Releasing Spellbound Collection

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — Coquette has announced the release of the Spellbound collection, a range of corsets designed with a light bondage twist.

The lingerie company said that it is excited to launch the line as it is atypical of bondage lingerie currently seen on the market. The line consists of three pieces that use a ribbon belt for discreet dual purpose. Besides adding a stylish touch, the ribbon can be used for binding.

According to the company, Spellbound is the perfect accompaniment to the growing trend of women exploring various aspects of their sexuality.

“We took the idea of delicately designed lingerie and paired it with a bondage flare,” senior designer Elaine Carson said. “When people think of fetish they do not associate the femininity that goes hand-in-hand with ribbons and lace. This line is something that we expect will make quite an extraordinary impact for women who want to experiment with fetish but shy away from the traditional PVC and wet look designs. This line shows the art of bondage in a beautiful and elegant form.”

Spellbound designs also act as shapewear. Each piece in the collection is lined with power netting, which is the same material used in shapewear. The new collection is available from small to 1X/2X.With the use of stretch lace and lycra over power net, the new lingerie line offers comfort and flexibility while remaining form fitting and figure flattering.

Retailers can expect to the unveiling of Spellbound at WWDMagic in Las Vegas on Aug. 21-23, booth 75813. The new collection is slated to hit stores by the beginning of November.
