LOS ANGELES — Director B. Skow is nominated for Best Director (Parody) at the 2012 NightMoves Awards.

The nomination comes on the heels of the launch of Skow Digital, the director’s new production company. In addition to the Best Director nod, B. Skow’s diverse projects from the past year tallied three film nominations including Best Feature Production (“Runaway”), Best Parody Comedy (“Pee Wee’s XXX Adventure Porn Parody") and Best Gonzo / All Sex Release (“Allie Haze: I Love Sex”).

“I am extremely humbled to be nominated,” Skow said. “NightMoves selected three extremely different movies of mine to honor as well. On behalf of the cast and crew of each film, thank you.”

He said that his new company, Skow Digital, adheres to the principal of diversity, allowing him to direct any project of his choosing, regardless of genre.

He also recently inked a contract with Girlfriends Films to direct lesbian adult movies. B. Skow will direct existing Girlfriends Films lines, as well as new, high-end lesbian features, while he continues to direct a limited number of independent features through his own production company.

“Who knows, maybe next year I’ll also have a movie nominated for Best All Girl Release by NightMoves,” he said.
