CalExotics Original Jack Rabbit Named No.1 Pleasure Product

CHINO, Calif. California Exotic Novelties' original Jack Rabbit has grabbed the number one spot in ETO’s Top 100 Pleasure Products List.

The sex toy, the company’s all-time best-seller, secures its place in history, the company said.

“It’s an honor to see the Jack Rabbit spotlighted this way," said Susan Colvin, president and CEO of California Exotic Novelties. "Thank you ETO for putting together this impressive list.”

Using suggestions gleaned from the industry, which were solicited through social media, Dale Bradford, ETO’s editor, compiled the Top 100 Pleasure Products List. It coincided with the publication’s 100th issue. The intention was to recognize the 100 most important and influential products the magazine has encountered during its time in the industry.

"We have seen thousands of pleasure products since ETO was formed, but we had no hesitation in choosing California Exotic Novelties' Jack Rabbit as the most influential," Bradford said. "As the first real rabbit vibrator, it paved the way for a revolution.

California Exotic Novelties created many Jack Rabbit variations, including the Impulse Jack Rabbit, My First Jack Rabbit, Platinum Collection Jack Rabbit, Rechargeable Jack Rabbit, Silicone Jack Rabbit, Thrusting Jack Rabbit, Waterproof Jack Rabbit, and the First Time Jack Rabbit.

“The Original Jack Rabbit just keeps going and going," said Jackie White, vice president of California Exotic Novelties. "You can find it in our very first catalog in the same packaging it has today. It’s gone through many incarnations over the years, but nothing beats the classic design of the original.

Several other California Exotic Novelties products also made ETO’s Top 100 Pleasure Products List. Coming in at number 88 is the Solar Bullet, 78 is Lilac Dreams, 65 is Warm-n-Glow Vibes, 64 are the CalExotics Toy Covers, 62 is the iTap Collection, 51 is Amour, 50 is the Couture Collection, and 39 is the Venus Butterfly

“Dale Bradford and ETO Magazine did an outstanding job putting together the Top 100 Pleasure Products list,” said Al Bloom, director of marketing for California Exotic Novelties. “Looking at all the items on the list is like taking a walk down sex toy memory lane. The best, most innovative, and most creative products to grace our industry in the last decade are represented.”
