LOS ANGELES – XBIZ TV on Friday unveiled an exclusive new video interview with award-winning performer Kayden Kross.  

Kross is a contract star with Digital Playground and the 2011 XBIZ Award-winner of Acting Performance of the Year for her role in “Body Heat.”

The Sacramento native, who co-hosted the 10th anniversary XBIZ Awards in January, discussed her steady ascent in the adult entertainment industry and how much things have changed for her along the way.

“I’ve learned and grown so much just as a performer and socially,” Kross said. “I’ve gotten more comfortable with the camera, with hosting, with public speaking, with all the things that I would never have approached with a 10-foot pole before. I was so shy and introverted and this industry really brought that out.”

Lately, when Kross is not performing she regularly takes on mainstream projects such as her recent lead role in the web series “Girl/Girl Scene.”  She also writes for several media outlets and is currently working on a Hollywood screenplay.

“I devote all of my time when I’m not on set to non-porn pursuits,” Kross said.

Those pursuits include an incredible amount of travel. In the past year alone, Kross has traversed four different continents with extended stops in places such as Bangkok, Barcelona, Australia and South Africa.

“I’m in a position where I’m financially taken care of every single month no matter what,” she said. “That’s the beauty of a contract.”
