Bluebird Films Partners With Gamma Entertainment

MONTREAL — Gamma Entertainment and Bluebird Films have signed an exclusive partnership whereby FameDollars, a subsidiary of Gamma, will manage and market Bluebird's web properties under its affiliate program.

In addition to the website operation, Bluebird has also granted Gamma a worldwide and exclusive multi-year license to manage its catalog for both broadcast and VOD.

Launched by entrepreneur Paul Chaplin in 2006, Bluebird entered the adult arena to become Britain's biggest adult company with two sprawling studios in North America and Europe, including five sound stages where the company makes use of state-of-the-art HD equipment.

"In the next five years we see ourselves as a global leader in bringing the mainstream platforms together with the adult platforms," said Chaplin, who is also a writer, actor and legal scholar. "Furthermore, we will be introducing our BBTV format into North America."

In 2008, Bluebird united with producer/director Nicholas Steele to make movies year round on both continents.

"We first started talking together somewhere in the beginning of 2011," Steele said. "Gamma being a leader in the Web-based platforms and Bluebird being a leader in making adult content. It was a perfect partnership and we are honored to be collaborating with Gamma to provide the consumer with high quality and original content. We believe we are up to the challenge to deliver unique content that will make a difference."

Bluebird's online portfolio includes broadcast, IPTV, mobile, print, high-def DVD and Blu-ray.

"Our ability to capitalize on the paradigm shifts of our industry has led to the growth of significant revenue streams and has allowed us to sign in new partners like Bluebird Films to manage their websites," said Magalie Rheault, FameDollars director of product and development. "This exciting new alliance with Bluebird will further broaden FameDollars.com's virtual landscape with Bluebird's high level of content that we can offer to our affiliates."
