Kink.com Launches MenOnEdge.com

SAN FRANCISCO — Kink.com's Kink Men announced the launch of MenOnEdge.com, a site featuring men “edging” — being bound and denied orgasm.

The company said the new site, the latest project from Kink director Van Darkholme, offers a less intimidating side of BDSM.

“Men On Edge is getting back to my roots,” Darkholme said, who got his start in the industry filming the muscle jocks he saw at the gym.

He added, “You're tying somebody up who isn’t supposed to be tied up. He's never done it before this is his first time. For me, Men On Edge is coming full circle, tying up hot guys and milking them.”

While Men On Edge features Darkholme’s signature rope work, its appeal reaches beyond the dedicated BDSM fan. Kink said it’s an opportunity to expand into a wider market without sacrificing its identity.

“A lot of people who come to Kink are curious,” said Michael Stabile, who was recently hired to manage marketing for Kink Men. “But not all of them are ready for something as hardcore as Bound In Public. Men On Edge is a great way to let them figure out what turns them on.”

Affiliates have a way to convert mainstream traffic, according to Kink. Inaugural subscribers to Men On Edge will also get access to Butt Machine Boys, a classic Kink Men site that is being re-launched with new content. Together, the sites signify Kink’s biggest push into the gay market since 2008.

Men On Edge has also become a way for more mainstream stars to experiment with their Kink side. Darkholme estimates that 90 percent of the stars that show up at San Francisco-based Kink have curiosity about BDSM, but little experience. He’s made quick converts of “one-time vanilla stars” like Spencer Reed, Dominic Pacifico and Sebastian Keys.

“They get a huge adrenaline rush from the session,” Darkholme said. “It stays with them.”

Men On Edge debuts with muscle jock star Marc Dylan, along with Gavin Waters, Alex Andrews and Jessie Colter. Darkholme said more are on the way.

Affiliate content, embeddable videos and linking codes for the website and other Kink Men sites are available at KinkyDollars.com.
