NEW YORK — BelAmiOnline.com announced the retirement of the Peters Twins.
“BelAmi’s Peters Twins are without doubt a porn phenomena,” BelAmi’s publicist said.
“They are still young guys and feel it’s time to focus 100 percent on their studies and their future outside of the adult world. It’s a move BelAmi has always been supportive of and one that they have helped facilitate.”
Their final four scenes are slated to be released in coming months with the final scene featuring only the two of them.
The twins burst onto the scene in 2009 and have generated some controversy and revenue during their time in the business, the company said.
The scene that debuted at BelAmiOnline late 2009 billed as “The Ultimate Taboo Finally Broken” featuring just the two of them together increased BelAmiOnline’s member base by 25 percent in that same period, the company said.
Months later, BelAmi released the DVD entitled “Taboo” featuring the scenes that already appeared exclusively at BelAmiOnline. The company said it became one of its most successful DVD releases of 2010.
The subsequent DVD releases, “Taboo 2” and the just released “Doing it Together” have also seen strong sales.
