Rising Star PR Announces Anniversary Contest

VENICE, Calif.  In honor of its third anniversary, Rising Star PR is holding a contest for a new performers to get a taste of complimentary PR services from the company.

Kagney Linn Karter and Brooklyn Lee, who each won AVN’s Best New Starlet trophy while utilizing the services of Rising Star, will help select the winner.

“I'm excited to be part of the Next Rising Star 2012 contest,” Lee said. “It's important to have the support of a good PR team if you're going to make it to the top. Rising Star PR is a great place to start.”

The contest is open to performers who have been in the business less than a year and who are not currently signed up for publicity with other companies. To enter they need to email info@risingstarpr.com.

Karter and Lee will help whittle the field down to five finalists, and then it will be opened up to public vote. The winner will receive a free month of full services from Rising Star PR, including press releases and media direction and assistance. The deadline to enter is April 29, with the final five to be announced May 1.

The contest will end two weeks later on May 14 with the winner announced the following day  and starting their first run of PR. The runner-up contestants will also be offered PR services at a reduced rate.

“Devan and Acme were polite and really seemed to know what they were talking about when we first met,” Kagney said. “They put out press releases on what I was doing, set up interviews with magazines and media outlets, helped me get the cover of AVN, and walked me through an amazing award season. I can definitely recommend their services.”

Rising Star PR currently represents clients that include Lisa Ann, Jenna Haze and Jennaration X Studios, Gen Padova, Casey Cumz, Dylan Ryder, Bluebird Films and Sienna Sinclaire. An abbreviated list of former clients includes Kayden Kross, Jenna Presley, Shawna Lenee, Sin City, Adult Source Media, Rebel Studios, Jesse Capelli, and Monique Alexander.
