RESEDA, Calif. — Girlfriend Films have announced the release of "Lesbian Storytime Theater: Vol. 1," the first entry in a new romantic fantasy series from writer and director Elexis Monroe and videographer Candi-Girl.
Set to street on Tuesday, the scripted feature presents four vignettes that bring to life Sapphic tales told throughout history. Inspiration, according to Monroe, was drawn from "The Disney Sunday Movie" and "Zalman King's The Red Shoe Diaries."
“I thought it would be fascinating to take the inspiration and turn it into a lesbian concept,” Monroe explained. “An adult book, filled with tales of love and sex thought the years of time — no boundaries, no themes, no expectations. We’ve created a world where anything can happen when it comes to women.”
The series, which explores the timeless themes of lust, infidelity, blackmail, seduction and deception, impressed Girlfriend Films Vice President Moose, who said, "Elexis and Candi-Girl presented us with a fun and sexy concept we knew consumers would love. It was an easy decision to green-light the project, and the results are fantastic. The first volume of ‘Lesbian Storytime Theater’ will enchant fans, and we expect it to sell extremely well."
"Lesbian Storytime Theater: Vol. 1" is narrated by Veronica Hart and stars Zoey Holloway, Brandi Love, Deauxma, Veronica Avluv, Shyla Jennings, Elle Alexandra, Amber Chase and Monroe. A NSFW trailer for the movie can be seen here.
