Adult webmaster will be able to comment directly on .XXX via a forum on ICANN's website.

“Whether you’re for .XXX or against it, this is the time to speak up,” Tom Hymes, communications director for the Free Speech Coalition, told XBIZ. “At this point in the process, silence is a vote of support for .XXX. That’s the perception at ICANN.”

While little has changed in this current version of the proposal, adult webmasters can judge the merits of .XXX for themselves by reading the documents online.

The site displays three documents: a “clean” copy of the proposal, a redline copy that marks the changes and a cover letter from ICM President Stuart Lawley.

According to Hymes, Lawley’s cover letter succinctly lays out the changes in question.

“People should read the documents and make up their own minds,” Hymes said. “The important thing is that this is a real opportunity for the adult community to make its feelings known.”
