Kink.com Adds Bobbi Starr to Roster of Directors

SAN FRANCISCO — Kink.com announced today the addition of performer Bobbi Starr to its roster of directors.

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome Bobbi back to the Armory, this time as a director,” said Kink.com founder Peter Acworth. “She is tremendously talented and we’re all looking forward to the benefits of her experience and point of view.”

Starr got her introduction to the adult industry in 2006 when she appeared on Kink.com’s water bondage website. Since then, she’s gone on to direct and star in more than 300 adult films.

“My new position directing for Kink shows how life goes full circle. Some of the first scenes I watched were produced by Kink, which planted the seed that led me to pursue a career in adult entertainment. Over the years, I returned to the Armory at every opportunity to shoot scenes for Kink's various websites. Gradually, I gained the confidence to get behind the camera to direct for the company where it all began,” Starr said.

She added, “I hope what I shoot influences others to be comfortable in their sexuality and inspires them to be creative in that expression — in the same way Kink originally inspired me.”

Starr will be working on a new project for Kink to be revealed in January of 2012.
