ExpXXX, Wicked Pictures File Porn BitTorrent Suits

LOS ANGELES — In the past seven days only three porn BitTorrent suits were filed in courts around the country, with Exquisite Multimedia Inc. filing its first such suit against unnamed John Doe defendants.

Exquisite Multimedia, which operates ExpXXX.com, filed suit against 336 Does who are alleged to have poached and traded a copy of "Supergirl XXX: An Extreme Comixxx Parody" over the Internet through a torrent system.

As typical in many torrent suits, the defendants not only traded the same movie but the same hash file as well.

The other porn company litigant, which filed two suits, was Wicked Pictures — one against 92 Does and the other against 95 Does.

All of the copyright infringement suits ask for the courts to order Internet service providers to provide the actual identities of the Does through IP addresses.
