Aneros Creates ‘Movember’ Fundraiser for Prostate Health Awareness

HOUSTON — Citing its commitment to prostate health, Aneros has created a fundraising team for Movember —  the annual mustache growing campaign dedicated to raising funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

In addition to team fundraising efforts, Aneros has pledged to donate a percentage of the purchase price, up to $10,000, for every prostate massager sold online at Aneros.com during the month of November.

With prostate health being the foundation of Aneros, the company said that joining the Movember campaign is another way to help educate men about the importance of prostate health during all stages of their adult lives.

“With nearly 218,000 men diagnosed with prostate cancer, and more than 32,000 men dying from this disease annually, Aneros encourages early understanding about prostate health issues and says that the Movember campaign helps raise awareness before men become at risk,” the company said.

“Every November, Movember encourages men around the world to donate their faces by growing a moustache in support of the crusade to ‘change the face of men’s health,’ effectively making these ‘Mo Bros’ walking, talking, billboards for the thirty days of the month.”

Beginning clean-shaven on Nov. 1, the male members of Team Aneros are growing mustaches and encouraging customers and fans alike to join the Aneros Movember team in their fundraising efforts.

To provide incentive, Aneros will be giving out weekly prizes in different categories including “best ‘stache,” “most tweets,” and “most funds raised.”

Team Aneros will be tracking and updating its progress on Facebook, Twitter, and in the Aneros Community forum, as well as providing more information on their weekly contests and prizes. Those wishing to join Team Aneros on Movember or simply to donate can do so here.
