Frontiers Magazine Announces Reader’s Choice Go-Go Dancer Competition

LOS ANGELES — Frontiers Magazine, Southern California’s GLBT publication, will conduct a readers choice of Go-Go dancer competition in celebration of the West Hollywood's Go-Go Dancer Appreciation Day.

Readers will vote on their favorite go-go dancer, and the dancer with the most votes wins a trip to Palm Springs and a cover shoot.

In addition to the contest, West Hollywood’s First Annual Go-Go Fest street party takes place on Oct. 29, with go-go dancers from the city competing in categories that include hottest jock, best bootie, twink, best package, muscle stud and amateur go-go boy.

“We are thrilled to see some of L.A.’s best male go-go dancers participate in this event, and congratulate the city of West Hollywood for creating Go-Go Dancer Appreciation Day to help drive consumers back into WeHo,” advertising director Vic Gerami said.

Go-go dancers and amateurs can sign up for the chance to win cash and prizes, including the grand prize of $1,000 cash, at WehoGoGoFest.com.

The appreciation day will include the AIDS Healthcare Foundation who will conduct free HIV testing on Oct. 29 at Larrabee Street and Santa Monica Blvd., and again on Dec. 11 at the same location for the annual AHF Toy Box Party.
