India Summer Appears on Showtime's 'Dexter'
RESEDA, Calif — Girlfriends Films contract star India Summer guest stars in the upcoming episode of Showtime’s hit series, “Dexter.”
The episode, titled “Smokey and the Bandit,” airs Oct.16 at 9 p.m. ET.
Cast as a police department secretary, Summer has a steamy encounter with one of the show’s main characters.
“I had so much fun on the set of ‘Dexter,'" Summer said. “The cast and crew were a pleasure to work with and always made me feel extremely comfortable. If I reveal too much about my character, it will be a spoiler, and I hate spoilers. I can say I’m in a sexually charged episode, which sees all the main characters of the show faced with some tough decisions. Watch, and you’ll find out soon enough.”
The episode of “Dexter” is Summer’s most current crossover role. She has appeared in episodes of FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” in 2009, 2010 and 2011. She has also earned parts in movies including “National Lampoon’s Homo Erectus.”
“I know what I’ll be doing Sunday night,” said Moose, Girlfriends Films vice president. “Everyone at Girlfriends Films is extremely proud of India and all her mainstream success. She is one of the most talented performers I have ever met.”
