'Golden Gate' Seasons 2, 3 Slated for Canada's hardtv

SAN FRANCISCO — The second season of NakedSword  original web series “Golden Gate” will be aired on Canada’s largest gay cable channel, hardtv, it was announced Friday.

Already airing the first season of "Golden Gate," hardtv plans on showing the second season on Sept. 16, with the third season starting on Nov. 18.

NakedSword, with the help of hardtv and sister cable channel OUTtv, have been marketing “Golden Gate” to Canadians at gay pride festivals throughout the country this summer, with appearances by performers Jesse Santana, Shane Frost, Kennedy Carter and Marcus Mojo.

“I’ve been really lucky to have attended these pride festivals and met so many fans,” Frost said. “Canadians are ridiculously nice, not to mention really hot!”

hardtv General Manager Brett Drysdale has been excited about sharing “Golden Gate” with his Canadian television viewers and fans.

“I’ve had the privilege to work with Naked Sword for many years, so once I took over running hardtv last fall, I knew I wanted whatever they were working on,” Drysdale said. “'Golden Gate' is a great addition to my programming, and subscribers have been asking for another season all summer.”
