Hot House Entertainment Relaunches Membership Sites

SAN FRANCISCO — Hot House Entertainment announced the launch of two new membership websites today, HotHouse.com and ClubInfernoDungeon.com along with the merger of the Next Door Buddy Profits affiliate program.

The sites are being launched as the result of a partnership between Hot House Entertainment and Next Door Entertainment announced in April at this year’s Phoenix Forum and replace the former Hot House Backroom and Dungeon sites.

Steven Scarborough, president and founder of Hot House Entertainment, told XBIZ in April that the deal establishes a new digital marketing strategy for Hot House and will streamline the studio’s efforts in producing content while handing the reins to the proven Next Door Buddy Profits affiliate program.

New features of the sites include: an improved viewing and user experience with a super-sized HD player; the complete library of titles from the Hot House brands: Hot House Video, Backroom Exclusives, Pack-Attack, Club Inferno, Hole Busters, and Plain Wrapped Video; live studio broadcasts with interactive chat; HD content and streaming options;  full mobile access; free scene previews; free iPhone downloads; enhanced search capabilities allowing searches by actor, theme and brand, and improved localization and payment options.

The sites also provide a favorites list that enables users to personalize their selection of video and photo galleries.

Scarborough said, “Today is a great day for our loyal fans, affiliates, and our entire team. Fans will be thrilled with the fantastic new state-of-the-art membership sites with many new features like mobile device compatibility; affiliates will be thrilled with the award-winning tools and service; and our staff will be relieved to be out of the technology and billing business. This will allow us to really focus on what we do best: making kick-ass porn that sells. We just couldn’t be more excited about the future.”

Next Door Entertainment President Stephan Sirard commented, “The reputation that Hot House has built over the years and the loyalty they enjoy from consumers and affiliates are why this brand has remained at the top. Combining their reputation for producing high-quality content with Next Door’s technology and gay marketing expertise produces an unbeatable winning combination. These types of strategic partnerships are the way of the future for the gay adult sector. It is in the better interest of all to work together rather than compete with one another.”

He added, "The cooperation between companies like Falcon, COLT Studio Group, Elite Male, Next Door and Hot House enables everyone to grow their online businesses in a more efficient and profitable way.”

The companies also announced that the Hot House Cash affiliate program has now been merged into the Next Door Buddy Profits affiliate platform. Former active Hot House Cash accounts have been automatically transferred so that affiliates can now seamlessly log in to Buddy Profits with their Hot House Cash username and password, view their stats, and get access to new promo tools.

More details for making the transition for affiliates will be communicated directly to affiliates beginning today.

Affiliates who have questions about the new program can contact Ewan French at ewan@buddyprofits.com.
