Screaming O Wins Marketing Campaign of the Year

LOS ANGELES — Screaming O and its collaborative community-based promotional Club Show was recognized as StorErotica's Marketing Campaign of the Year at the fifth annual StorErotica Awards, held July 18 during the ANME Founders Show in Burbank, Calif.

The award marks the company’s third accolade for its innovative marketing techniques work directly with retailers and consumers to promote adult products to the mainstream masses.

At grand-opening galas, anniversary events, mainstream music festivals, and college and university circuits, The Screaming O and its Scream Team deliver an "event in a box" comprising of store, bar, club or school participation for an interactive community-based promotional program.

The Screaming O Club Show boosts brand awareness, builds collaborating retailer’s customer base, and spreads messages of sex positivity, safe sex and sexual health and wellness. Emceed by industry personality Tony Batman, The Screaming O Club Show has become a fun and flirty way for community establishments to cross promote their products with The Screaming O's, the company said.

"We make it fast, easy and fun for stores, clubs and mainstream organizations to host The Screaming O Club Show by providing all the tools, tricks and tips needed to properly market the event to the masses," The Screaming O partner Keith Caggiano said. Whether it's the Scream Team hosting store grand openings, Tony Batman headlining mainstream festivals and conventions with the infamous O Face contest, or working hand in hand with the Association of Safe Fun Sex (ASFX.org) to spread the word of safe sex awareness with free Screaming O Condom Packs, The Screaming O Club Show caters to each venue's and store's specific needs and promotional goals.

Each Screaming O Club Show is targeted to bolster brand recognition among existing customers while breaking barriers to entirely new customer demographic, the company said.

In the last year, The Screaming O has hosted store openings, anniversaries, grand openings in all parts of the country, co-promoting with local bars and clubs including Legz in West Virginia and Stilettos Cabaret in Texas.

The team has even taken over adult retail shops with day-long in-store promotions and VIP after parties held at participating local bars with Hustler Hollywood in Los Angeles, Hustler Boutique in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sexy Suz Adult Emporiums throughout Georgia, and Tender Box in Hermosa Beach, Calif.

The Screaming O also took the mainstream main stage this year at the Carnival of Madness, SXSW and 97X Backyard BBQ music festivals with the Backstage Artist Lounge; the Rock on the Range music event; and the Georgia Fighters Combat Sports Expo.

The company also hosted a campus-wide safe sex party at the University of Georgia's Kappa Sutra event.

The Screaming O said it has some major plans in the pipeline for retailers and distributors to look forward to, and can't wait to roll out more game-changing, precedent-setting and all-around exciting projects this year.
