E-tique.org to Exhibit QR Code Kiosk at ANME

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — E-tique.org will attend the upcoming ANME Founders Show to present its QR code-reading kiosk and QR code generation services to retailers and manufacturers.

"I am excited to show people in our industry the kiosk that E-tique.org has developed and what a powerful tool it is,” E-tique.org President and CEO Donovan Green. “Today more and more industries are utilizing the kiosk model from banking, airlines and of course sexual boutiques. Also we are looking forward to assisting companies with their QR code campaigns.

“As more and more companies realize that they need to incorporate this technology into their marketing campaigns, the importance of an industry standard will come into play. Let's give a good experience to the consumer ... without them we are nothing"

Green said that the company’s sponsorship of Sunday evening’s carnival event during ANME follows a “The Love Boat” theme to suggest to manufacturers and retailers that they shouldn’t “miss the boat” when it comes to taking advantage of QR code technology.

“People [in the adult industry] have begun to adopt QR coding and are making their own codes — which is great but there are a lot of ways to do it and some I feel may be doing it wrong,” Green said, referring to a New York Times article chronicling the grocery industry’s adoption of bar codes and QR codes, and the importance of establishing an industry standard.

Green told XBIZ that E-tique recently partnered with CalExotics, creating up to 600 QR codes for the company’s products.

“The adult industry has always been on the cutting edge of new technologies, but for the first time in my 40 years in the business, we are lagging behind,” said Al Bloom, CalExotics director of marketing. “Working with E-tique has restored my faith in the ingenuity that always set our industry apart. We will be unveiling a full set of merchandise category QR codes at ANME. These codes are linked to video presentations we produced to educate and inform the shopping public. Our resident sexperts Dr. Jessica-Browning Cassaday and her husband Ryan host these videos."

E-tique will be set up in the Sunset Room Booth 5, offering QR reader kiosk demonstrations and coding generation sales.
