Isaacs Says Prosecutors Trying to Force Plea Deal

LOS ANGELES — Ira Isaacs, the fetish filmmaker who faces eight felony obscenity counts, says that federal prosecutors combed through 2257 model release forms and interviewed at least one performer in relation to charges against him.

That performer, Isaacs told XBIZ, has likely given investigators a false account that she was forced into a scat porn production beyond her will and with the lure of drugs.

But Isaacs said that the information provided in discovery about the model's statement to investigators is an attempt by prosecutors to put pressure on him to agree to a plea deal.

Isaacs said he's not sure whether prosecutors will call her to testify in his obscenity case, nor is he certain what if any questions they would ask her.

"They've got to her to scare me, demonize me," said Isaacs, referring to performer Veronica Jett, a longtime porn actress who started in 2004 and still continues in the biz today.

Isaacs said that he filmed Jett in the 2004 video that involves fecal matter, "Hollywood Scat Amateurs No. 10," and acquired the domain VeronicaJett.com, a scat site that he still owns today.

The site offers hundreds of pictures and clips from the movie, which is one of the videos named in the obscenity complaint. Jett, who has more than 300 adult titles attached to her name, is joined in the scat video with another actress named April.

"She knew what she was doing," Isaacs said. "In the video, they're laughing and smiling and having a jolly old time."

Isaacs said Jett has been upset for some time because he registered the namesake website and continues to sell the seven-year-old scat movie on the site.

He also says that he has tried to accommodate Jett by giving the website to her, but he insists she pay back a $1,000 loan.

"She originally needed the money to pay rent, but she has flaked paying it back every time I have given her a chance to repay it," he said. "I'm a man of my word, and if she were to pay me back I would give her the site."

XBIZ was unable to reach Jett this week for comment.

Last week, Isaacs faced new federal charges, which join three older ones, alleging that his companies, Stolen Car Films and LA Media companies, distributed by mail "Hollywood Scat Amateurs No. 7," "Hollywood Scat Amateurs No. 10," "Hollywood Scat Amateurs No. 38," "Trailers" and "Japanese Doggie 3 Way" — all deemed "obscene matter" by federal prosecutors.

Isaacs originally was charged in 2007 with federal obscenity violations over the mail distribution of “Gang Bang Horse — ‘Pony Sex Game’” and “Mako’s First Time Scat,” as well as “Hollywood Scat Amateurs No. 7.”

Isaacs has pled not guilty on all counts.

With the new charges, U.S. Judge George King has vacated all scheduled trial dates and the trial could be moved forward until next year.

"What else are [prosecutors] going to do with me," Isaacs said. "After five years of this going on, you are like a zombie. Even prison looks like relaxation."
