Avelli Names Steve Rane as Controller

BOULDER, Colo. — Intimate lifestyle brand management company Avelli has announced the addition of Steve Rane to the role of controller.

According to the company, Rane brings 17 years of financial experience to Avelli and will oversee the company's budget preparation, accounting, asset allocation, cash management and financial reporting.

“Avelli is proud of all our employees, who have made possible our continued growth and reputation as a premier lifestyle brand management firm,” Avelli President and CEO Randall Hughes said. “We're excited to welcome Steve to the Avelli team and look forward to his expert oversight in maintaining the corporate financial integrity that has served as the backbone for Avelli's success. The entire Avelli team looks forward to Steve's contributions.”

Rane will be based in Avelli's Boulder office. He most recently served as controller for Copper Mountain Resort in the mountains of Colorado, where he was responsible for the financial integrity of a $75 million ski resort operations budget, the company said.

Prior to that, Rane served as chief financial officer of Coburn Development, a real estate services firm, where he raised more than $200 million in for capital for real estate development projects and managed a $20 million commercial property portfolio, according to the company.

“I'm thrilled about the opportunity to work for Avelli,” Rane said. “Their reputation as a team-oriented organization who cares about the quality of their products and the joy of their customers makes it easy to share my skills, yet a challenge to increase financial efficiency. I relish the opportunity to meet that challenge and help Avelli continue to achieve its value-oriented goals.”
