Jack Hammer Raises Support for His Bladder Cancer

SAN FRANCISCO — Family, friends and fans of Jack Hammer have united to raise money to help with his battle against bladder cancer.

Diagnosed with stage four bladder cancer, Hammer can no longer work. His stack of bills have been piling up and he has more than six months of chemotherapy left.

A former marine from 1985-1993, Hammer was stationed in Beirut in 1989 and Kuwait in 1990 during Desert Storm. He is also a mixed martial artist who has been training and competing for years.
