LOS ANGELES — OC Modeling has formed a partnership with The Rub PR for branding and marketing of the agency's new and established talent.
The partnership became effective as of April 1.
“We want to create something that’s never been done before,” said Sandra McCarthy, owner of OC Modeling. “We are going to offer our talent the ability to become well known and make more money. The Rub PR has made quite a name for themselves over the last few years and make things happen — this is what we want for our talent.”
OC Modeling said its goal is to develop a web presence for its select models and give them the ability to generate additional income through official personalized websites, live webcam shows and other opportunities.
“I feel like we’re making history,” said Erika Icon, owner and publicist of The Rub PR. “When OC Modeling called me about this project I got really excited — I can’t wait to work with them and their girls. It really amazing to see a performer’s career rise — I’ve done that with several of my clients and it’s extremely gratifying.”
Icon has more than seven years of adult industry experience, having worked in various facets of the industry including retail buyer, writer, sex advice columnist, DVD, website, toy reviewer, and publicist.
In that time, Icon has developed relationships with various studios, performers, companies, sales personnel, distributors and magazines, which Icon said have helped her promote her clients and their brands.
